Here’s my plan:
I’ll keep this blog as my journal for my research, where I can keep all the good stuff I need to finish it up when I’m going through the design phase. The hard part will be remembering to keep it up...

Distractingly interesting blog describing a promising thesis. Finish this Spring - it's important!
The most interesting aspect of the Spanish Indies town is the simplicity and universality of the plan idea. It has hierarchy, abundant civic meaning and simple rules which produce excellent, pedestrian scale cities. It also produces beautiful houses of many sizes.
It doesn't deal with the car very well - questions for you might be: what other aspects of modern life make these plans less useful - and yours more useful.
I'm happy to learn more about the Gaucho - explains much about you!
